The regular monthly meeting was held September 4th 2012, at the Knights of Columbus in Hollidaysburg PA.

All lodge officers were present except President Kovel, Chaplain Flanagan, and Trustees Neil and Leon Wagner.

President Vice President Cornelius led the members in attendance with the Pledge of Allegiance and gave the opening prayer.

MOTION made by brother Friedenberger and second by sister Kovel to deviate from normal business so a guest speaker could address the lodge.

   Guest speaker, Fred B. Miller, District Justice in Blair County wanted to inform the lodge he intends to run for election for the position of Court of Common Pleas Judge. He spoke briefly and related he would address our lodge further at a later date.

MOTION made by Brother Wiemer and second by Brother Bob Kovel to waive the reading of the previous minutes. Motion passed.

SICKNESS AND DISTRESS – None

REPORTS OF FINANCIAL SECRETARY/TREASURER – Treasurer Cunningham gave report of finances and VP Cornelius gave report of the special account.

MOTION to accept the report by brother Bob Kovel and second by brother Patrick. Motion passed.

REPORTS OF COMMITTEES – Brother Hetzel spoke about the lodge gun raffle and related there are still tickets left to sale and those out need to start being turned in.

GOOD OF THE ORDER – Vice President Cornelius and brother Friendenberger spoke about the PA State convention at Philadelphia.  

2013 LODGE 57 DUES ARE EXSPECTED TO INCREASE .24 CENTS AS PER A STATE LODGE INCREASE.

MOTION made by brother Bob Kovel and second by brother Patrick to send the maximum number of delegates to the September Round Robin in Harrisburg PA. Motion passed.

MOTION made by sister Kovel and second by Brother Campbell to pay the bills against the Lodge, Motion passed.

MOTION made by Brother Hawk and seconded by brother Shaffer to Adjourn. Motion passed
