Membership
There are four classes of membership.
Classes
Active: Active members of Frederick Sutton Memorial Lodge 57.
Description: Members of Frederick Sutton Memorial Lodge 57 who are active members of the Pennsylvania State Police.
Requirements: Must be an active member of the Pennsylvania State Police who are assigned or have been assigned to the Lodge 57 area stationed at the Hollidaysburg, Bedford, Huntingdon, Lewistown, McConnellsburg, Rockview, Philipsburg or Everett stations. The member cannot be a member of any other Fraternal Order of Police Lodge. Members of a sister lodge may transfer to the lodge as long as they are in good standing with their current lodge and are an active member of the Pennsylvania State Police.
Retired: Retired Member of Frederick Sutton Memorial Lodge 57
Description: Members of Frederick Sutton Memorial Lodge 57 who have retired from active duty with the Pennsylvania State Police.
Requirements: Must have been a member of one of the 15 sister lodges within the Pennsylvania State Troopers Association at their time of retirement from the Pennsylvania State Police.
Associate: Associate Member of Frederick Sutton Memorial Lodge 57
Description: Civilian members of Frederick Sutton Memorial Lodge 57.
Requirements: Must be 18 years of age. Must be sponsored by an Active or Retired member of Frederick Sutton Memorial Lodge 57 and are subject to approuval of the body at a regular meeting.
Honorary: Honorary Member of Frederick Sutton Memorial Lodge 57
Description: Honorary members consisting of District Attorney, Sheriff, or members of the law enforcement division of the Pennsylvania Game or Fish Commission, or any other dignitary which the Board of Directors may deem appropriate.
Requirements: Must be 18 years of age. Must be sponsored by an Active or Retired member of Frederick Sutton Memorial Lodge 57 anda District Attorney, Sheriff, or member of the law enforcement division of the Pennsylvania Game or Fish Commission, or any other dignitary which the Board of Directors may deem appropriate. Honorary members are subject to approval of the body at a regular meeting.
